Frankston microchip dog doors allow you to keep unwanted animals out of your house. We will program the microchip reader, to suit your pet/s own identification details.
It can store up to 32 identities and works with an extensive selection of microchips and collar tags. If your dog is not microchipped, we’ll provide a collar tag with the door.
Battery operated, the microchip dog doors have a curfew mode, allowing you to set the door to lock and unlock at certain times of day. There’s even a low battery indicator, to let you know when the batteries are running low (generally 12 months life).
These doors can be installed into timber doors and panels, as well as fixed glass doors, windows and panels. Not suitable for sliding doors / windows.
How do they work? As an animal approaches the door, it scans for a collar tag and/or microchip and will only open for those pets coded to the door.
This keeps other animals out of your house, providing protection for your pets and property.
Our Frankston microchip dog doors are suitable for smaller dogs (under 6kg) and works well for cats too.
